ABOUT US
Plan Your Visit
Our church mission is the advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ through public worship of God, the preaching of the Gospel, consistent Christian living by our members, personal evangelism, missionary endeavor and Christian education. We welcome you to join us Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. Our dynamic worship experience includes hymns, the reading of God's word, musical selections by our choir and praise team, and a life changing expository preaching message by our Senior Pastor.
What Should I wear?
Dress for Sunday morning worship ranges from casual or business casual to business professional. Those attending services throughout the week typically dress in a very relaxed or casual manner.
Where Do I Park?
When you arrive you will have different options for parking on our campus. We have a parking lot located near our education center on Hargrave St. and near the sanctuary along North Marlborough Ave. Handicap parking is available in the parking lot near the gym entrance. If those are ever packed due to large events, you can park along other nearby adjacent streets.
What Should I Expect?
Our ushers and greeters will welcome you and will be available to help you and your family prepare for our worship service. There is a cry room available on the second floor for families with infants and young toddlers. Children up to 6th grade will be dismissed during service for Children's Church, giving you the opportunity to focus on the service. Worship services are typically between one hour and thirty minutes and an hour and forty five minutes.
How Can I Join?
First, submit a completed membership application. You will then be scheduled for an interview with the Deacons prior to the New Members Class. The class, which typically takes place once a month, will be held in a classroom on campus from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on a selected Saturday. After successful completion of the New Members Class and acceptance of membership requirements stated in the Church Constitution, you will become a member of Fairview Heights Baptist Church and will receive the right hand of fellowship.
